Item #11

 For Sale

1954 Series 60 (Fleetwood sedan) or Sixty Special.

Well, the neighborhood architectural committee has gotten around to demanding that I get rid of my former restoration project-turned-parts-car from my driveway! So here is your chance to obtain a western parts car, essentially rust-free. The car is a 1954 Series 60 (Fleetwood sedan) or Sixty Special. Very nice doors, good F&R glass and good transmission (apparently), perfect floor pan, some chrome trim remains, nice trunk, nice rear quarters/fenders, nice radiator core support, but F&R bumpers are long gone. Front clip and upholstery are gone too. Doors and trunk are rust-free and straight, but the RF door looks worse than it really is because the paint on it cracked and flaked badly for some unknown reason (perhaps a prior respray of this door reacted with the paint underneath -- not sure). But even this door is very, very nice.

I have sold some items from this car, but it still has lots of good stuff left. I also have some new parts and some restored parts available, which are not included in the sale.

Winning buyer must pick up the car by Jan 31.

$450.00

Won a Past Presidents’ Award, first in its class for originality, at the
2010 Kansas City Grand Nationals!

1966 Cadillac Sedan de Ville - $13,000 (Roswell, Georgia)

CLEAN, STRAIGHT, like new. Highly original, no rust issues at all.  Documented 45,000 miles as of June ’09… That’s only about 1,000 documented miles per year!  GM Heritage Center build sheet: # 8,993 of 11,860 made. All numbers match on build sheet, Protect-O-Plate (included) and cowl tag. Strathmore White (bright white) with black vinyl top.  All chrome is impeccable, straight. No pitting, inside or out. This is a four-door post car, not a hard top (and it’s stiffer, sturdier as a result). Rides like a new one.

I am second owner, from Nov 2007. In her Fifties, the first owner bought it in Chicago but kept it in Florida . She garaged it from day one. She passed away recently at over 90.  I’m selling ONLY because I want a ’66 convertible and have no more space.

The interior is like new. No tears in the headliner, no cracks in the dash, no rips in the seats. Glass is clear, not pitted or scratched. The black vinyl top is near perfect.  Climate Control blows COLD.  6-Way power seat, power windows, Soft-Ray glass, door edge guards.  Clock, AM-FM radio & antenna: all work.

Original 429 cid engine and drive train, body, and interior. T-3 headlamps are original. Firestone spare & tools are still in trunk and are original, like new. Gilt key fob from original dealer is included, with original owner’s manual, P-O-P warranty booklet, & options brochure. Original black rubber Cadillac mats and trash receptacle with Cadillac logo.

I have receipts for:

▪          New Diamondback custom-built triple whitewalls on modern Firestone 380 radials.

▪          New Frigidaire AC compressor.

▪          New gas shocks from Kanter’s.

▪          New Pertronix electronic ignition and 40,000 watt coil.

▪          New aluminized Classic Exhaust system (complete).

▪          New California Car Cover Company cover customized with “1966 Sedan de Ville” on the nose.

▪          New red ’66 Georgia tag: “66 SDV”.

▪          New backup set of Cadillac imprinted keys.

▪          New fuel pump.

▪          New complete front-end rebuild using Performance Suspension Technology (PST) kit.

▪          Carter carburetor rebuild.

This car was driven to Philadelphia for the Cadillac-LaSalle Club’s August 2008 Grand Nationals.  Was selected for display at the Hilton Head Concours de Elegance November 2008. Averages 13+ mpg on highway using high test…

1963 Cadillac, Model 62, 4-Dr, 4 window, sedan, 11,100 miles, original paint, chrome, and interior, in excellent condition. Car has never been restored.  White exterior with black and white interior.  Excellent enough for a run at the Past President’s Preservation Award. Original spare in the trunk, and although not mounted on the car, I have the original four Firestones it rolled off the assembly line with. The car was bought from the Diamond Carpet Mill Collection auctioned in Dalton, GA roughly ten years ago. It is an excellent driver and I hate to part with it but I am losing my storage.

 $20,000 o.b.o.

Wanted

Wanted: Fan for the water pump on a 1955 Cadillac.

Bill Green  / wdgreene1970@bellsouth.net

Wanted:  A vacuum control valve for 1970 Cadillac hearse, should be same as all Caddy's except maybe Eldorado.   Mounts under dash near steering column and when you move your heat/ac selector from floor to defrost to vent, etc. this valve moves the doors in heater box so air goes where you want it via vacuum.  I am only getting air out from the floor be cause the valve is not changing the air direction at the moment.

This is a two piece unit with a top and bottom. Some people have said they don't exist but I have pictures of it in Cadillac Serviceman publications. Apparently used on some cars (ac?) and not others. Also used on 1954 cars - again it seems, somewhat sporadically. Contact Forrest Ward 678-358-7890     (ottoskorzeny@comcast.net)
